Your miles

Strava runs count fully. Manual logs count at 50% unless verified by a check-in.

⌚ Run with an Apple Watch, Garmin, COROS…?

Those miles count. Connect your watch to Strava once, and every run you record uploads to Strava and then to your Wilmy miles. Only Strava runs count, so the watch app is the easy way to get them there.

Apple Watch

Option 1: Apple's Workout app. In the Strava iPhone app: You tab → Settings (gear) → Manage Apps and Devices → Health → tap + → Connect, allow Workouts and Workout Routes, then turn on Automatic Uploads. Only runs recorded in Apple's Workout app (last 30 days) sync this way; other apps' Health data doesn't.

Option 2: the Strava Apple Watch app (watchOS 10+ with iOS 17+). Runs upload automatically when your phone is nearby or the watch has a connection; to push one manually: Settings → Unsynced on the watch.

Garmin

In the Strava app: Settings → Connect an App or Device → Garmin → Connect Garmin, sign in to Garmin Connect and allow activity sharing. (Older app versions call this "Applications, Services, and Devices" on iPhone or "Link Other Services" on Android.) On the web: Settings → Social Connections → Connect with Garmin.

COROS

In the COROS app: Profile → Settings → 3rd Party Apps → Strava → Connect Now, then authorize.

Polar & Suunto

Polar Flow: Settings → Partners → Strava → Connect (manually added sessions don't sync). Suunto app: Settings → Account → Connect to other services (Android) or Profile → Connect to other services (iPhone) → Strava.

Why not Apple Health directly? Apple Health has no web connection, so a website like ours can't read it. Reading HealthKit directly would need a future Wilmy iPhone app. Strava's Health connection above works today.

Watch runs go through the same checks as every Strava run: only Run activities count (no manual entries), and runs faster than about 4:00/mi, slower than walking, duplicated or overlapping, unusually large daily totals, or without GPS are held for review before they count.
